Surf City Haiti - Stephanie

It’s a pleasure for me to talk a little bit about surf city in Haiti this year. In surf city time all the children get to know one each other. We really love that time each one of us are waiting to see when that time is coming. Surf City makes us all closer, like a big family. We make new friends. The teaching time at Surf City is very important. They teach about the Gospel and how to live life with Jesus. This year we really enjoyed because we got a chance to learn about Haiti’s history. This is important especially for the older kids because they haven’t learned all of that before. The older kids like me really appreciated the time with Dr. Wislyn because he taught us so much. He told us about many sicknesses that you can get. I want to thank Emily for the Silver Ring Thing book that she gave us. Through that book we can learn how to glorify God with our bodies. Next year we would like to continue with the same topic. And we would like to know more things for our lives. We want to thank PKF for having Surf City here in Haiti. Thanks for the girls’ sleepover. Keep praying every day for the orphanages in Haiti. We would like to have Surf City two times because we miss it during the year. Even if it’s not a big thing like in the summer. For us, it’s way too long to wait a whole year. Especially the kids at EBAC. We just go to the beach once a year. We learn how to love each other more at surf city. We love each other more and care for each other more after Surf City.
